Watch These Sales & Marketing Thinkers in 2012 – Best of 2011

How Many Salespeople Can Fit In San Francisco?

Score More Sales is at Dreamforce in San Francisco today and tomorrow learning about ways that Salesforce – the industry leader in Cloud based computing – is helping small business and non-profits. Look for an upcoming series on specific tools and strategies using the Salesforce platform to grow revenues.  It is our 5th trip here and the crowds, events, and activities are mind-boggling.

Because we have such an affinity for sales people and sales teams, it’s fun to be around so many. More on this week’s announcements from Salesforce about new products, partnerships, and small biz solutions to help grow business. So much to talk about – stay tuned.

Build Sales with this Summer Reading List

For those business builders reading this post – you know who you are. You don’t have time to read mindless fiction, lounging at the beach this year. (Full disclosure: I read very little fiction in general – there, I said it.)

Don’t just learn by doing – READ what others before you have done, and know that success leaves clues. I love a good business building book – and have recommendations that will take you well through the Fall. My colleague, Nancy Bleeke created two lists for summer reading. Our 50 Days to Build Your Sales book is on there – just wanted to add that it is a super easy read – actually in very large type. It simply has 50 sales inspirations on the left hand sides of the pages, and 50 actual sales tips to grow business on the right hand side. Oh, and it makes a GREAT gift for those hard-to-buy-for entrepreneurs.  Bonus points for you if you post YOUR favorite sales books – feel free to leave them as a comment.

Help Japan and Help Your Sales Grow at the Same Time

Can you imagine five days of top sales instructors, mentors, and teachers sharing with you the TOP ideas to help you grow your business – and the very small fees to participate all going to help victims in Japan?
